Summer 2017-18 Cricket Season is coming!

The 2017-18 season commences on the weekend of 7 October.

Player Registration
Registration for the season is now available via the links in the side and top menus. All players, whether new or returning, are required to complete the form if they want to play this season. New players will be added into MyCricket so they will get the email communications out from the club about pre-season training, teams, gradings and selections, whilst for the returning players their details will be updated accordingly.

Teams
We are looking at 5 teams being entered in the NCU/NSCA competitions this season, covering A Res (NCU Turf), B, C and D Grades again. This is pretty dependent on player numbers, so make sure to get your rego’s in asap. Within the NSCA it’s pretty certain that there will be games played on Sundays through the season due to ground availability, so players will need to be aware of that. The amount of Sunday games will be shared through the synthetic grades, so each grade will probably get some Sundays.

NCC Executive & Committee
Finally, congratulations to the returning Executive with no changes to positions, showing stability as we embark on our 99th year as a club. We do have a new Player Liaison Office this season, Alex Johnston, who takes on the role of helping to welcome our new players to the club as well as being a sounding board for any issues that could come up for players during the season.

Season 2016/17 Fees & Player Charter

Published by:

The Fees for the 2016/17 season are now payable for all players who have registered.

For this season, the early bird discount is valid up until the 26th September, so be sure to get in whilst the discount is on.

Head over to the Fees page for more information.

We have also introduced a new Player Charter, which demonstrates the expected behaviour of all Northbridge cricketers this season. There will be a crack down at an NSCA level on player behaviour this year, however we would like to take the first step in documenting how we expect those who represent Northbridge will behave. Make sure you are familiar with the details, as it is a requirement to have read the charter in order to play with the club moving forward. Head to the Player Charter for more information.

Pre-Season Training for 2016/17!

Published by:

The first 3 training sessions for the 2016/17 Season are now locked in. We’ve had a problem with availability of nets but we have secured the following:

Venue: Northbridge Oval
Dates: SUNDAY 18th September, SUNDAY 25th September and SUNDAY 2nd October
Times: 3:00pm until 5:00pm

All players, new and old, are welcome to come down and have a hit at our spiritual home ground! Be sure to register via the player registration link above to register your interest in playing for Northbridge in 2016/17.

These pre-seasons sessions are not at our usual training venue so that we can run some much needed fielding practice. The normal season sessions will resume at Sydney Boys High School from the first week in October, with actual details to be confirmed.

To register, simply head over to our website at our Player Registration Page and complete your details. This is for all players, new and returning, so we can get the up-to-date contact details into the system.

We need to know player numbers within the next 3 weeks, so make sure to register now! Players who don’t register will be removed from the email list by that time as well.

Information about Pre-Season Training and 2016/17 Fees will be sent out as soon as we have the details.
